Anglingiceland.is

As the name points to, the website is about angling, fly fishing in Iceland. Iceland is a heavenly destination for fly fishermen. It offers some of the best Atlantic salmon fishing as well as world class trout fishing consisting of huge native brown trout, sea trout, landlocked and sea run arctic char.

The fishing mostly takes place in the countries various rivers, but several lakes are also very important. We will keep our readers consistently alert with new items, fishing news, statistics and features that will cover rivers, flies, lakes and other important matters that will come up.

Several outfitters are working on this project with us and will be listed accordingly.

We have an Icelandic website as well, www.votnogveidi.is and have operated it since the spring of 2005.
